What the family needs, in one place — lists, tasks and a message board
What it is
Needly is the shared kitchen wall, on the phones you already carry. Shopping lists that everyone can add to, household tasks that can be assigned and dated, and a board for the messages that used to be a note on the fridge.
You can belong to more than one household — your own family and your parents', for instance — and everything stays grouped by household. Whoever creates one administers it: renaming, inviting by code, removing members.
The Apple Watch app is deliberately small. It shows the list and lets you tick items off while your hands are full in the shop; adding and editing stay on the phone.
Inside the app
- Shopping lists — several at once, and you can see who added and who bought.
- Tasks — optionally assigned to a member, optionally with a due date.
- Board — short messages for everyone in the household.
- Multiple households — one account, several families, content kept apart.
- Invite codes — a six-character code adds a member, nothing else does.
- Apple Watch app — read and tick off, straight from your wrist.
- Push notifications — when someone changes something you care about.
- Admin controls — rename, remove members, delete the household.
Details
Your data
Household data is shared with the household, and no one else. Lists, tasks and posts sync through Firebase so every member sees them. The Watch app talks only to your own iPhone — it never contacts the server. No ads, no analytics SDK, no trackers.
