What it is

Thirty is the dice game you already know how to lose. Everyone starts on the same score. You roll all six dice, set at least one aside, roll what is left, and keep going until all six are down. Then you add them up and hope for thirty.

Land exactly on thirty and nothing happens. Come in under it and the difference comes off your score. Go over and the overshoot becomes a penalty you roll off — and the total lands on the next player instead. Hit zero and you are out. Last one standing wins.

One device, passed around the table. The app rolls, scores and keeps the order; you provide the shouting.

Inside the app

  • 2–6 players on a single device, hot-seat style.
  • Adjustable starting score — 50 by default, set it wherever you like.
  • Automatic scoring — under, over and the penalty phase all handled.
  • Game in progress is saved — close the app, come back, carry on.
  • Results and rematch — standings at the end, one tap to go again.
  • No account, no server — the whole game runs on your device.
  • Free with ads — a one-off purchase removes them for good.

Your data

The game itself keeps nothing. Players, scores and the game in progress are saved in a file on your device and never uploaded. The ads are the one exception: Google AdMob may use a device advertising identifier, and in the EEA and UK you are asked for consent before any ad loads. The in-app purchase removes the ads and the ad requests with them.
